What Is EVV?

Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) is a federally required system under Section 12006 of the 21st Century Cures Act. It verifies that Medicaid Services, such as in-home visits, community-based service visits, and home health services, are provided as scheduled.

EVV systems like Pavillio track six core elements:

  • ✅ Location of service delivery

  • ✅ Caregiver identity

How To Use Pavillio:

  1. Download the Pavillio Mobile App (or log in via secure website)

  2. Clock in when your visit begins

  3. Select the type of service you're providing

  4. The app will automatically capture the location of service delivery

  5. Clock out when your visit ends

Everything is securely saved and sent to our system for billing and compliance.

Blue Star Home Care provides:

  • Step-by-step EVV training for all caregivers

Live-In Caregiver Exemptions

    So many questions and no clear answer. Take no more action. Call us and we will be happy to assist you. We can meet with you and explain in detail the service we will be providing to you. We will provide a match caregiver that will work well with you or if you prefer, we will hire the person of your choice to work with you whether it is a friend, a neighbor, or family member.

  • Everyday there are many persons receiving services who are not satisfied with the personal care services they are receiving from where they currently are. We promise to help you make a smooth transition of service to our agency as quick as possible. Turnaround time for transfer of services takes about two to four weeks. Let us work together.

    Assessment – An assessor will come out to determine the services needed and how many hours you will qualify for.

     

    Home Care Service– Services begin when you are determined to be eligible for services by the assessor.
